Derived from sustainably caught herring roe, Ultra Omega provides a high-quality source of DHA and EPA, crucial omega-3 fatty acids which are not synthesised by the body so must be supplied via the diet or as a supplement. The omega-3 fatty acids are bound to phospholipids – the natural form of fat found in the body, allowing for efficient absorption by the body as well as ensuring no fishy aftertaste.
The herring roe is also a natural source of choline, a key nutrient that forms part of all cell membranes in the body. Choline plays a particularly important role during pregnancy for foetal brain development.
Omega-3s are recognised for their ability to correct inflammation, a key concern for those dealing with conditions like PCOS and endometriosis.
