We recommend taking our supplements with a meal, for the products that have multiple doses it is best to split throughout the day if possible. If this is not possible, then it is completely safe to take all at once to ensure you are taking the recommended dose each day. For Her Vitafem - 2 capsules per day Vital DHA - 2 capsules per day Femceive - 1 capsule per day Vitamin D spray - 1 spray per day There are no interactions with our supplements so you can take them in any order that suits you. We have given an example of how to take our Female Foundation Fertility Support Pack based on taking with two meals. If taking the supplements out of the packaging, ensure they are kept somewhere dry and away from direct sunlight. Is Vitafem safe to take alongside a separate Folic Acid supplement?

Vitafem contains the recommended intake of Folic Acid, in the form Folate. This is the readily absorbable form which is more effective at raising your levels. You do not need to take another Folic Acid supplement alongside Vitafem unless you have been advised by your GP.

Can I take the supplements with a hot drink?

We advise waiting 30 minutes after taking our supplements before having a hot drink like tea or coffee. Hot drinks can affect the activity of the bacteria in Femceive and Menceive and tea and coffee can affect the absorption of certain nutrients

I’ve noticed since starting the supplements that my pee has turned yellow, is this normal?

Yes this is perfectly harmless and is the body getting rid of excess vitamin B2. It is usual to experience this when taking multivitamins that contain B2 so nothing to worry about and it does not mean she is not absorbing the nutrients.

Do I need to take Vitafem and Vitafem Boost?

Yes, the products are designed to be taken together. Vitafem is a multivitamin and mineral containing all the nutrients we recommend for fertility, including the recommended intake of Folic Acid. Vitafem Boost is designed to be taken alongside Vitafem, to further support egg quality. This can be beneficial if you have low AMH, poor diet or lifestyle or are struggling to conceive naturally.

Are the supplements safe to take alongside levothryoxine?

Yes our supplements are fine to take alongside levothyroxine - there is 150 mcg of iodine in the Vitafem but this is deemed perfectly safe to take alongside. However we recommend taking Vitafem at least 2 hours away from the thyroxine - preferably 4 hours away.

How long should I take this pack for?

We recommend taking our supplements for at least 3 months before trying to conceive however all the supplements in the kit are safe to take for longer than three months. Our Female Foundation Fertility Support Pack is safe to take into pregnancy, once the pack finishes you can move onto our Newly Pregnant Pack .
